We and our children are fans and avid readers of Mo Willems’ pigeon series, especially the book “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus,” (available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble) and turned into a clever video on YouTube.   But pigeons are a nuisance bird for reasons other than wanting to drive public transportation.

We came across a new pest control product and were instantly reminded of the ending of the comedy classic Caddyshack, in which Bill Murray, as Carl the golf course groundskeeper, uses explosives to try to eliminate the gopher that bedeviled him the whole movie. Now see the Rodentator, a real(?) pest control product, in action!

In honor of this week’s blockbuster movie The Amazing Spider-Man, our Insect Music Series is expanding to include some “Arachnid Music” - Specifically, the Ramones’ cover of the Spider-Man cartoon theme song.  Has there ever been a better song for a superhero TV show or movie?  Prince’s Bat Dance doesn’t come close. Neither does that Nickelback Spider-Man song
