Bell Environmental is proud to announce the relaunch of our specialized bird control website: BellBirdControl.com. As the bird exclusion division of Bell Environmental Services, we protect people, property, and public health from nuisance birds and the diseases they can carry. Our clients include government agencies, municipalities, and commercial properties across the Northeastern United States—from Maine through Virginia.
The spread of Avian Flu (aka Bird Flu, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) or H5N1 and other variants) and its impact on our food supply and as a new dangerous disease vector have drawn public attention to this concerning health risks of shared by our bird friends. Our refreshed site now includes real-time public health resources to help clients stay informed about urgent threats like Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI, or H5N1). This evolving virus—once mostly limited to wild birds—has infected poultry, cattle, cats, rats, and other mammals. The impact raises alarms for food supply chains, zoo animals, family pets, zoonotic crossover into humans, and long-term health impacts. There have been 70 reported human cases in the US with one fatality. To meet this moment, we’ve launched a new, frequently updated Bird Flu Tracker that monitors news about:
- H5N1 outbreaks by region
- Virus mutations and animal crossover
- Human exposure risks
- Food system disruptions, including poultry and egg price impacts
