We see and value our canines’ success when our teams pinpoint the bugs’ locations and find evidence at client sites during a bed bug inspection. We very frequently find evidence precisely where the dogs alerted, and track and record whether or not physical evidence was found for every customer.
The only true measure of a bed bug dog’s accuracy is in a controlled training environment. That is why it is important that we regularly train outside of client bed bug inspection jobs. We keep detailed training logs of these inspections.
Be assured that we would never use a bed bug dog that didn’t meet our standards. We once had a canine whose accuracy and behavior in controlled training precluded us from ever placing the bed bug sniffing dog in the field to inspect client sites.
All teams hold current WDDO (World Dog Detector Organization) certification. These certifications are actively maintained by working with master trainers.
